My new book is going to be released this year. It’s about vocabulary building. As we know, vocabulary is one of the important elements that students should master if they want to improve their fluency in a particular foreign language.

This book contains tremendous important English vocabularies equipped with the sentence examples. It is intended to be a students’ companion book in a language program namely “Vocabulary Building” which is held daily in my school. Within a year, the students will learn more than 1,000 words that will help them develop their fluency in four basic language skills; listening, speaking, reading and writing.

Through this posting I enclose my book draft hoping that you can give some useful suggestions and corrections.

Bye for now.

  1. Great job Zaky! It must be an useful handbook for the student.
My only note is highlighting the tittle of every chapter.
IMHO, it’ll make them easier to learn , if you classify the chapter for specific theme.
    E.g: Chapter 1 (School)
In this chapter, you classify the common used vocabularies at school.

    That’s all 🙂

    • Yep, that’s a good idea, Kahfi, but I have planned to write such this thematic / classfied wordbook in my next project. The present book uses the 3,000 word frequency list that usually appears in most English spoken and written language, so the students are assumed to learn the most necessary vocabularies. Thanks any way for your suggestions 🙂
