Lesson Plan: Advertisement, Email and Notices & Cautions

One of the important keys to successful teaching is a sound preparation aided by a good lesson plan. Harmer (2007, 156) says, “For students, evidence of a plan shows that the teacher has devoted time to thinking about the class.” A lesson plan indicates the level of teachers’ professionalism and commitment in conducting their jobs.

In this posting, I try to make a lesson plan that is hoped to help me in teaching English in the classroom as effective as possible. It is known that there are numerous notions about the of lesson plan designs, and as an Indonesia teacher, I was overwhelmed by making long lesson plans that are not only impractical but also take too long time to make. In this posting I prefer choosing Harmer’s in the sake of its simplicity.

You may download this lesson plan for your personal use as long as you cite this website as the source of your work.

Bye for now.
